John Thomas Wolff, 52 of Columbia Heights, died March 21,
2002 at Unity Hospital in Fridley due to a complications from Leukemia.
John was born June 26, 1949 to Raymond and Hope Wolff, in
Minneapolis, MN. He grew up and attended school in Columbia Heights with his
family. In 1969, John enlisted in the United States Navy, where he was
stationed on the U.S.S. Waddell and fought in Vietnam. He served our country
until 1973. John worked at United Defense in Fridley, MN as a Test Mechanic
for 25 years. He also enjoyed collecting coins, fishing, and collecting
agates.
John will always be remembered and truly missed by those
who knew and love him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond A. Wolff
and Uncle Bill.
He is survived by his mother, Hope Wolff of Columbia
Heights; his son, Zachary Wolff of St. Cloud; daughter, Sarah Wolff of
Braham; brothers, Robert (Linda) Wolff of Cambridge, Joe (Renee) Wolff of
Circle Pines; sister, Debra (Don) Johnson of Stanchfield; his Navy shipmates
and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held March 26 at Hogan Mille Lacs
Funeral Home in Isle, MN.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Jeannie Hogan.
